    Michelle is the managing partner of the firm and has been with Agee Owens & Cooper since 2007. Michelle has vast legal experience in Title IX defense, Education Disciplinary Defense, Professional License Defense and Labor Law. Prior to her legal career, Michelle was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and professional counselor. In this role, Michelle gained valuable experience working with families and students, guiding them through extremely difficult and stressful situations. Now, as an attorney, Michelle combines years of counseling experience with her impressive knowledge and expertise in law. This enables her to reach the best legal solution for her clients, while also helping greatly with the social and emotional issues that often arise in these matters. Michelle is a consummate professional, a brilliant attorney, and a tenacious fighter for her clients.
    Michelle is Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and able to act as an advisor in school matters
    throughout the United States. She is admitted to practice in all Tennessee state courts, the Middle,
    Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee Federal Courts, the United States Courts of Appeal in the 6th
    and 4th Circuits.
